Thus, Hollywood stars Natalie Portman, Naomi Watts, Ashley Tisdale, Margot Eskens, as well as our “native” celebrities Svetlana Konegen, Dima Bilan, Alina Kabaeva, Alexander Peskov, Oksana Fedorova, Tatyana Vedeneeva, Ksenia Borodina, Natalya , Sergey Lukyanenko, Angelika Varum, Alexander Tsekalo, Anfisa Chekhova, Julia Kovalchuk, Larisa Korzhneva, Victoria Daineko, Julia Nachalova, Natasha Koroleva, Svetlana Svetikova, Vladimir Mashkov and other stars.

Origin
The homeland of the dogs of this breed is considered the county of Yorkshire, which is located in the north of England. There is very little historical information about where exactly this miniature breed of decorative dogs came from. Moreover, the hypotheses that exist today are notable for their contradictory nature. The only point about which we can speak with full confidence is that this breed was the result of the crossing of different types of British Terriers. The distant ancestors of this small dog were bred in order to hunt rats and other rodents. And multiple crosses occurred due to the fact that in the county of Yorkshire for a long time there was an influx of workers from Scotland, who in those days had to look for work in manufactories that produce wool.

It is highly likely that today experts say that in the process of crossing, the Maltese, sky-terriers, and dandy-dinmont terriers were used to breed the Yorkies.

As a result, thanks to the crossing of the mentioned breeds, the ancestors of modern terriers appeared. But at the very beginning, both the weight and the size of the representatives of this breed were significantly higher than the similar indicators of modern Yorks. Years passed and by selection, miniature representatives of the canine genus, called the Yorkshire Terriers, appeared. At the same time, Yorkies also acquired a long beautiful coat. As a result, they became real companions of many beautiful ladies and turned not only into decorative, but also very fashionable representatives of the canine kind.

By the standards of this breed of dogs, the weight of a York can not exceed three kilograms. This dog has a flattened head, a not very long muzzle, and a black nose.

The hair on the head of the Yorkshire Terrier is painted in a bright golden color. A real representative of this breed on the face and near the ears should have a very clear separation of colors. The dog’s head is painted only in a golden yellow color, and on the trunk and neck the coat has a dark bluish-steel hue. The dog should have its small V-shaped ears.

Immediately after the puppy is born, its tail should be half docked. On the tail, the hair has a darker shade than on the body. The wool falls to the floor from the sides, it is evenly and directly divided into a parting from the end of the nose to the end of the tail. According to breed standards, the color of the dog should be blue with a steel shade with a dark yellow color at the roots of the coat. But at the same time, only born puppies have an exclusively black coat color.

Yorkshire Terrier Puppies
Yorkies – dogs are incredibly fast, lively and able to enjoy life and their master. At the same time, even small sizes do not turn such a dog into a coward: Yorkshire terriers are animals that are distinguished by enviable courage and even arrogance. In addition, they have incredibly good health indicators. This dog will constantly show its devotion to the owner, treat other household members well and can even get along with pets.

But you need to remember that York should comb the hair every day and carefully care for it. Many owners of dogs of this breed prefer to cut them. But it should be borne in mind that, having plans to expose York, it should not be cut.

A dog of this breed is not just a friend of man. For her already managed to create a whole layer of entertainment and the industry of fashion accessories. Today, for these dogs in the world they publish fashion magazines, sew brand clothes, hold catwalk shows, come up with a wide variety of haircuts and hairstyles. Therefore, as soon as you acquire the Yorkshire Terrier, you will immediately understand why this breed is represented as the most popular in the whole world.

As a rule, Yorkies live from 12 to 15 years.

By acquiring such a pet, you will receive not only a beautiful decorative dog, but also a real explosion of energy and a positive mood. York every day will delight everyone who is in the house, “charging” the household with optimism and energy.

Thinking about buying a York puppy, first look at these dogs in the kennel and, believe me, you will definitely come back again and take the Yorkshire puppy home…
